Ulrika Maria Toft Hansen (born July 13, 1987 in Bankeryd , née Ulrika Maria Ågren ) is a former Swedish handball player .
Career
Toft Hansen started playing handball at IFK Bankeryd. From 2003 the right-hander played at IF Hallby HK and three years later moved to BK Heid . In 2008 she joined IK Sävehof . With Sävehof, Toft Hansen won the Swedish championship in 2009 and 2010. After the second championship success, the cyclist switched to the Danish first division team Esbjerg . In the summer of 2012 she signed a contract with league rivals Randers HK . From the 2013/14 season she ran for the German Bundesliga club Buxtehuder SV . In 2015 she won the DHB Cup with the BSV . As of April 2015, she was on pause due to pregnancy. She gave birth to a son in October 2015. From January 2016 Toft Hansen was back on the Esbjerg squad. In 2016 she won the Danish Championship and in 2017 the Danish Cup. She left Esbjerg after the 2017/18 season. In January 2019, she signed a contract with the French first division club Paris 92 . She ended her career after the 2019/20 season.
Toft Hansen played 89 games for Sweden , in which she scored 140 goals. With Sweden she finished 9th at the 2011 World Cup . In the summer of 2012, Toft Hansen took part in the Olympic Games in London . At the 2012 European Championship , she scored 14 goals in six games for the Swedish selection. At the 2014 European Championships , she won the bronze medal with Sweden.
