Ulrike Fulde
Ulrike Fulde (in Schmölln ) is a German singer ( soprano ).
Life
Ulrike Fulde was born in Schmölln, Thuringia. At the age of nine she received her first piano lessons at the Altenburg Music School . In 1992 she was awarded at the Stavenhagen competition of the city of Greiz . She has repeatedly won prizes at the national youth music competition . After graduating from high school , she studied singing with Hans-Joachim Beyer at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig until her concert exam in 2003 . During her studies she attended master classes with Ingrid Figur , Patricia Pease and Horst Günter . Fulde then completed the master class with Kammersängerin Regina Werner-Dietrich .
As a soloist she performed a. a. at the Koblenz Mendelssohn Days and the Handel Festival in Halle (Saale). In 2004 she was awarded the Handel Prize of the City of Halle . She sang Fiordiligi in Mozart's Cosí fan tutte in a production by Joachim Herz . At the Leipzig Opera she was the dreamer in Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel . In 2003 she played Pamina in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at the Theatro Castro Alves in Salvador (Bahia / Brazil) . In the same year she sang Radamanto in Graun's L'Orfeo at the Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth . She had another role as governess in Britten's The Turn of the Screw in a production by Claudia Zahn . In addition, she sang oratorios under the Gewandhaus organist Michael Schönheit and Thomaskantor Georg Christoph Biller . She also worked with the university music directors Ron-Dirk Entleutner , Jens Lorenz , Gothard Stier and David Timm . Fulde also appears as a song interpreter, in 2007 she was involved in the Cape Classic Festival in South Africa. She sang contemporary music under Roland Kluttig at MDR .
Fulde is a member of the ensemble of the MDR radio choir .
