action

The unstable insurance clerk Paul Montag, whose duties include checking dubious claims, is tasked with investigating the death of a Magdalene Gard. The only 28-year-old athlete died in the middle of a tennis tournament under unclear circumstances - allegedly of heart failure. Shortly before her death, she had taken out a disproportionately high life insurance policy in the amount of 100,000 DM , which, however, was not given to her mother, but to an enigmatic organization called "Cumulus". Monday tries to clarify the background of the death of the Magdalene Gard and the sect-like organization. He notices that there are other suspicious deaths in the vicinity of the organization. His investigations make him a target.

reception

TV Today magazine called the film an "unusual, tricky game of confusion."
