The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2000 (KCA) took place on April 15, 2000 at the Hollywood Bowl , an outdoor theater in Los Angeles . It was the 13th US award of blimps . These are orange, zeppelin-shaped trophies with the logo of the broadcaster Nickelodeon , which were awarded in 25 categories. In addition, actress Rosie O'Donnell received the golden Hall of Fame Award . Rosie O'Donnell was also the moderator of the awards, who took on this role for the fourth time in a row, after she had assisted Whitney Houston in one-player in 1996 . David Arquette , Frankie Muniz , LL Cool J and Mandy Moore acted as co-presenters .

Live performances

Jennifer Lopez opened the event with the title Feelin 'So Good . Jessica Simpson sang with Nick Lachey entitled Where You Are . * NSYNC also appeared in an Orlando clip with their hit Bye Bye Bye . Most recently, the Goo Goo Dolls ended the show amid fireworks with their songs Broadway and Slide .

Slime showers

For amusement, celebrities receive a green slime shower every year, which the Nickelodeon broadcaster understands as the highest appreciation. This time it was actor Will Smith's turn.

It was possible to vote in advance in 25 categories. The golden Hall of Fame Award , which was presented to Rosie O'Donnell , was not up for voting . This award was given from 1991 to 2000 to a prominent person who was more famous than anyone else.
