Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 1998

Actress Rosie O'Donnell hosted

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 1998 (KCA) found on April 4, 1998 at Pauley Pavilion on the campus of University of California in Los Angeles instead. It was the 11th US award of blimps . These are orange, zeppelin-shaped trophies with the logo of the broadcaster Nickelodeon , which were awarded in 17 categories. In addition, actresses Tia and Tamera Mowry received the golden Hall of Fame Award and Aerosmith received the pink Rosie's Choice Award . The ceremony was hosted by Rosie O'Donnell , who took on this role for the second time in a row, after having assisted Whitney Houston in one-shot games in 1996 .

Live performances

Aerosmith played their song Pink . The Hansons sang their song Weird . Puff Daddy and rapper Ma $ e presented a medley of the songs It's All About the Benjamin and Mo Money Mo Problems . The British girl group Cleopatra also performed with their debut single Cleopatra's Theme .

Slime showers

Every year celebrities are given a green slime shower for amusement. Nickelodeon sees this as the highest honor. This special honor was given to the singer Puff Daddy .

Categories

It was possible to vote in 17 categories in advance online, by telephone and by post. The golden Hall of Fame Award , which was presented to the twin sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry, was not up for voting . This award was given from 1991 to 2000 to a prominent person who was more famous than anyone else. In addition, Rosie O'Donnell presented her own pink Rosie's Choice Award to her Aerosmith idols .
