Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2017

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2017 (KCA) took place in March 11, 2017 Galen Center of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles instead. It was the 30th US award of blimps . These are orange, zeppelin-shaped trophies with the logo of the broadcaster Nickelodeon , which were awarded in 28 categories. Other categories were chosen internationally - for example in German-speaking countries for the favorite star and favorite video blogger . The presenter of the ceremony was the wrestler John Cena . The preliminary reports from the “orange carpet” called Orange Carpet Pre-Show were moderated by Daniella Monet and Meg DeAngelis. Sascha Quade moderated the accompanying German-language event on the grounds of the Kulturbrauerei in Berlin , which was broadcast on March 12, 2017.

Live performances

Jacob Sartorius sang the title By Your Side before the start of the pre-show from the “orange carpet” . The rapper Machine Gun Kelly presented the song Bad Things with Camila Cabello , and Little Mix appeared with a medley of their singles Touch and Shout Out to My Ex .

Slime showers

Every year, for amusement, some celebrities are given a green slime shower. Nickelodeon sees this as the highest honor. This year it was the turn of the singer Demi Lovato , the actors Chris Pratt and Kevin Hart and the presenter John Cena . In Berlin, the Lochis also received a slime shower.

The nominations were announced on February 2, 2017. Since that day, children and young people have been able to vote for their candidates via the Nickelodeon website , the Nick app, Twitter and Facebook .
