The 2014 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards were held on March 29, 2014 at the Galen Center at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles . It was the 27th award of the "Blimp" trophies since the first award under the name The Big Ballot in 1987. The show was hosted by the American actor Mark Wahlberg . The pre-reports from the red carpet called Orange Carpet (Pre-Show) were hosted by Sydney Park . In German-speaking countries, the program was broadcast on Nickelodeon a day later . The two presenters from Nickelodeon Alaaarm , Laura Garde and Sascha Quade reported for Germany .
