The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2007 (KCA) took place on March 31, 2007 at the Pauley Pavilion on the University of California , Los Angeles . It was the 20th US award of blimps . These are orange, zeppelin-shaped trophies with the logo of the broadcaster Nickelodeon , which were awarded in 16 categories. In addition, Ben Stiller received the silver Wannabe Award . The presenter of the ceremony was Justin Timberlake . The two-hour preliminary reports from the “orange carpet” called Countdown to the Kids' Choice Awards were moderated by Victoria Justice and J. Boogie.

Live performances

Drake Bell presented the title Hollywood Girl during the pre-show from the "orange carpet" . During the ceremony sang Maroon 5 song Makes Me Wonder and Gwen Stefani with Akon titled The Sweet Escape .

Slime showers

Every year, for amusement, some celebrities are given a green slime shower. Nickelodeon sees this as the highest honor. This special honor went to the actors Mandy Moore , Jackie Chan , Chris Tucker , Vince Vaughn , Tobey Maguire , Steve Carell and Nicole Kidman and the presenter Justin Timberlake . Stuntman Ron Jones also made a bungee jump into a slime-filled paddling pool.

Categories

Starting March 5, 2007, children and young people were able to vote for their candidates via the Nickelodeon website . The silver Wannabe Award , which was presented to Ben Stiller , was not up for voting . This award was given from 2001 to 2008 to the idol that children would like to be themselves.
