The 2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards were held on April 2, 2011 at the Galen Center of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles . It was the 24th award of the "Blimp" trophies since the first award under the name The Big Ballot in 1987. The show was hosted by the American actor Jack Black . In German-speaking countries, the program was broadcast one day later. The German-speaking part was moderated by Franziska Alber and Roman Aebischer .
