Game Shakers - Now it's App (Original title: game shakers ) is an American youth - sitcom , which is about two girls who start a game company. The series was developed by Dan Schneider , who was involved in the production of Sam & Cat , Victorious , iCarly , Zoey 101 , Drake & Josh , The Amanda Show and Henry Danger .

The first episode was broadcast as a feature film on September 12, 2015 by the US television station Nickelodeon . The first season consists of 21 episodes, a second season was announced in March 2016. In Germany, Game Shakers has been broadcast on Nickelodeon since January 10, 2016 . action

The focus of the series is on the two 12-year-old girls Babe and Kenzie, who are developing the mobile phone game Sky Whale for a school project, which surprisingly sells millions of copies. Together with the rapper Double G, who owns the rights to the background music, they found the Game Shakers development studio.

characters

Mackenzie "Kenzie" Bell ( Madisyn Shipman ) is a 12-year-old girl and co-founder of Game Shakers. At first she is rather reserved and only gets to know Babe better when the two of them work together on a school project. They later become best friends. Kenzie is the brain behind Game Shakers, she does the programming.

Kebabe "Babe" Carano ( Cree Cicchino ) is a 12 year old girl and co-founder of Game Shakers. She is the researcher of the two and usually provides the ideas for the games.

Hudson Gimble ( Thomas Kuc ) is a classmate of Babe and Kenzie. Babe hires him at Game Shakers because he's cute and does everything she says. In the company he often serves as a test person for dangerous experiments as well as for motion capture . He is portrayed as being rather dumb, which often leads to misunderstandings.

Grover George Griffin "Triple G" ( Benjamin Flores, Jr. ) is the son of Double G. After he begs the girls to do so, they hire him as a play tester.

Gale J. Griffin "Double G" ( Kel Mitchell ) is a famous and eccentric rapper. His royalty claims drive Game Shakers almost to bankruptcy, whereupon he becomes a partner in the company. The character is kind of a cross between Diddy and Kanye West .

Minor characters

Bunny Beasly (Bubba Ganter) is an assistant to Double G. In contrast to his strong stature, he is rather childish inside.

Ruthless (Sheldon Bailey) is an assistant to Double G and occasionally tutor for Triple G. He always speaks excessively loudly, which Trip sometimes draws attention to.

Mr. Sammich ( Director Davis ) is a teacher from Babe and Kenzie.

Mason Kendall ( Tanner Buchanan ) is an older boy Babe is in love with. She tries to look cool in front of him.

Bobby Dong ( Alexandre Chen ) is a crazy man. Double G often calls him when there are problems.

Teague ( Todd Bosley ) is a waiter at Fooders. He's a good caricature artist.
