content
The stories that are told in the films draw their tension from the contradicting characters of the two: Dog is optimistic and not very intelligent, while Cat is significantly smarter, but also more pessimistic. The two main opponents are the Greasers , a three-headed gang of dogs. Her boss is Cliff (Clifford), the other two members are the stupid dog Lube (Ignatius Lubowitsch) and the bitch Shriek .
Furthermore, the mouse Winslow can be seen as an opponent, as it regularly harasses Cat with devious tricks. But like Shriek , he spares Dog.
