União de Freguesias the Chamoim e Vilar , short Chamoim e Vilar is a village ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Terras de Bouro in the northwest of Portugal .

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities Chamoim and Vilar . Chamoim became the seat of the new administration.
