The União das Freguesias de Mouçós e Lamares is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Vila Real in northern Portugal .
history
The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Mouçós and Lamares .
Vila Real became the seat of the new administration.
