The União das Freguesias de Venda Nova e Pondras is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Montalegre in northern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Venda Nova and Pondras .

Venda Nova became the seat of the new administration.
