Under the sky of Paris (in the original French mostly for short Sous le Ciel de Paris , completely Sous le Ciel de Paris coule la Seine, German "Under the sky of Paris flows the Seine") is a film by the French director Julien Duvivier , who in Year 1951 appeared. The German dubbed version was created by the Internationale Film-Union Remagen under the direction of Georg Rothkegel. The commentary was spoken by Erich Ponto (" Die Feuerzangenbowle (1944) ") and the Germanized songs were sung by Gerhard Wendland and Rudi Schuricke .

A sculptor kills a young woman who wanted to explore Paris. In addition, a medical student saves a worker, a woman struggles to overcome her ever-growing loneliness and a girl who ran away from home returns home.
criticism
“Duvivier (...) poses as the master of the episode in this film. (...) This film really belongs to the top performances in world production. Neorealistic in style, it leaves the new Italian school far below itself thanks to its internalized depth. "
