Unterreichenau is a district of the town of Pausa-Mühltroff in the Vogtlandkreis in Saxony .

location

Unterreichenau is located on the district road 7876 northwest on the former city limits of the city of Pausa in the direction of Wallengrün . The demarcation of the property lies in the southeast Thuringian slate mountains in undulating terrain .

history

In 1281 the former manor with 304 hectares was first mentioned in a document. The Oertelsmühle in Unterreichenau was first mentioned in a document in 1614, the miller affirmed , but gave no insight into the document. After the last waterwheel was shut down in 1958, only electrical energy was used. The cutting mill and barn were used by the LPG since 1960. The miller died on October 25, 2005 and a year later the mill fell silent forever. The Schlottenmühle is said to have been in the church register in 1606, but was only mentioned in a tax review from 1683. In 1960, when the village was run as a fully cooperative, the grain was ground into grist for the LPG in the mill. After the reunification, the industrial mills had a higher productivity and the miller stopped the mill work in 1995. The population increased from 13 in 1583 to 97 in 1834 and 126 in 1964. After Pausa the citizens parish. The estate officially belonged to the Pausa Office in 1583 , then to Plauen and in 2008 to the Vogtlandkreis.

In April 1992 the city of Pausa changed country with the neighboring villages from Thuringia to Saxony.
