Langenbach is a district of the town of Pausa-Mühltroff in the Vogtlandkreis in Saxony .

location

The street perch village with a corridor is located west of Mühltroff and east of the city of Schleiz on the federal highway 282 in the southeast of Thuringia slate mountains on the border with Thuringia .

history

In 1378 the village of Langenbach was first mentioned in a document belonging to the castrum Mühltroff office . The place belonged to the Plauen office until the 19th century . Later he belonged to Schleiz and since 2008 to the Vogtlandkreis. The name has existed ever since. In 1551 there were 50 settlers in the developing village. In 1834 there were 430 people living in the village, 428 in 1925 and 443 in 1964, mostly of Protestant faith. The agricultural village owned 900 hectares of usable area in 1900. In April 1992, the municipality, like Thierbach and Mühltroff, moved from the Thuringian district of Schleiz to the Saxon district of Plauen . In 1994, Langenbach was incorporated into Mühltroff .
