Unterried is a district of the municipality Drachselsried in the Lower Bavarian district of Regen .
location
The village of Unterried is located in the Bavarian Forest over two kilometers southeast of Drachselsried and south of Oberried .
history
In the 12th century, numerous reed sites north of the Black Rain were established under the Counts of Bogen . Unterried was first mentioned in a document in 1254 together with Trautmannsried, Oberried and Hötzelsried.
Unterried formed a main team in the Riedern office of the Viechtach nursing court . After the first community edict of July 28, 1808, this should be incorporated into the community of Oberried , but through the second community edict of May 17, 1818, Unterried, like Oberried, became part of the regional court community Drachselsried I. This was only after the patrimonial courts were repealed in the year 1848 united by resolution of March 8, 1849 with the patrimonial parish Drachselsried II. In 1987 Unterried had 284 inhabitants.
