Ursula Voss

Ursula Voss (* 1947 in Weingarten ; † December 6, 2014 in Vienna ) was a German dramaturge .

Life

Voss studied philosophy and German studies in Stuttgart and also completed training in publishing and editing.

In 1987 Voss worked for the first time as a dramaturge at the Vienna Burgtheater with Uwe Jens Jensen and Harald Clemen . From 1987 to 1997 she was a dramaturge in George Tabori's theater "Der Kreis".

At the Burgtheater she worked with a number of well-known directors, including Michael Haneke , Claus Peymann , Thomas Langhoff and André Heller .

She was married to the actor Gert Voss , whom she only survived by five months. Their daughter Grischka Voss (* 1969) is an actress and author.
