Václav Vraný (born September 13, 1982 in Pilsen , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech handball player .

Vraný, who last played for ASV Hamm-Westfalen and appears for the Czech national team, is mostly used as a circular runner.

Václav Vraný began playing handball in his hometown at Slavie VŠ Pilsen and later moved to HSC SKU Pilsen, where he made his debut in the Czech premier league. In 2002 he came to the capital club Allrisk Prague, 2004 to Dukla Prague . In 2007 he joined TUSEM Essen , which had just been promoted to the 1st  handball league . In 2009 Vraný moved to the second division HSC 2000 Coburg . Just one year later, he moved to the Swiss club Kadetten Schaffhausen , with whom he was champion in 2011 and 2012 and cup winner in 2011.

In the summer of 2012 Vraný moved to the German second division ASV Hamm-Westfalen. There Vraný signed a two-year contract. On December 1, 2013, his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

Václav Vraný has so far played 65 international matches for the Czech national team. At the 2007 men's handball world championship in Germany, he was not part of the Czech squad. For this he was a participant in the European handball championship in 2010 and 2012 .
