Václavov [ ˈvaːt͡slavɔf ] (German Wenzelsdorf ) is a district of the municipality of Buzice in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers east of Blatná in South Bohemia and belongs to the Okres Strakonice .

Geographical location

Václavov is located in the Blatenská pahorkatina hill country. The village lies on the left side above the Lomnice valley on the Na Vrších plateau. The Boudovka (512 m) rises to the south. To the west are the Krejčí and Vilímec ponds.

history

Wenzelsdorf was created in 1800 by the owner of the Blatná estate, Wenzel Hildprandt Freiherr von und zu Ottenhausen, and is named after him. In 1803 his son Franz Hildprandt von und zu Ottenhausen inherited the property. In 1840 Wenzelsdorf consisted of 10 houses with 70 inhabitants. The parish was Blatna . Until the middle of the 19th century, THE village was always subject to the Blatna rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial Václavov / Wenceslas village formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Buzice in the district administration and the judicial district Blatná. The school location was Váhlovice. In the course of the abolition of the Okres Blatná, the village was assigned to the Okres Strakonice in 1960. On January 1st, 1974 Václavov was incorporated into Blatná together with Buzice. In 1991 Václavov had five residents. Since the beginning of 1993 Václavov has been part of the Buzice municipality again. The 2001 census counted 7 people and 10 houses.
