Vèrena Püschel (* in Wismar ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Vèrena Püschel studied journalism and communication science , psychology and modern German literature at the Free University of Berlin. She spent a year abroad in Brisbane, Australia while studying. Afterwards she worked for several months as an English teacher in an orphan village in Tibet. During her studies she worked at n-tv in Moscow and at ZDF in Washington DC as well as at the ZDF capital city studio in Berlin and MDR Sachsenspiegel, Dresden. She also worked for the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce (HKTDC) in the PR field.

Then she did an internship at NDR . She has been a live reporter and author for major events on NDR and ARD since 2007 , as well as the author of longer-format documentaries.

Since 2008 when they hosted NDR broadcasts "So one day - casual acquaintances in Northern Germany", "Schleswig-Holstein 18:00", the "Summer Tour" with the city bets from the Schleswig-Holstein magazine and on 1 Welle Nord NDR reported.

In 2010 she was on the air for the ARD morning magazine with the live week "Stormy Days" and is also a domestic reporter. At the meeting of the correspondents of the ARD morning magazine, she was awarded the MoMa-CUP 2012 as "Best Reporter Inland".

In the first two seasons of the entertainment show Dalli Dalli with Kai Pflaume , she sat next to Jan Hofer on the jury. In 2012 and 2013 she was on the jury for the talent casting of the "NDR-Schleswig-Holstein Hammers".

Vèrena Püschel has been the mother of a son since 2013.
