Víctor Píriz , full name Víctor Enrique Píriz Álvez , (born June 22, 1980 in Artigas ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.83-meter-tall offensive player Píriz was at the beginning of his career from 2002 to mid-2003 in the ranks of Tacuarembó FC . He then left his home country and joined the Club Atlético Talleres . With the Argentines he was used in at least ten league games. He scored four goals. From July 2004 until the end of the year he was active for the Argentinos Juniors . During the first half of 2005, CA Banfield was his employer. This was followed by an engagement at Arsenal de Sarandí until mid-2006 . Then he was again a year in the squad of Club Atlético Talleres. In July 2007 he moved to Mexico for San Luis FC , for which he subsequently scored nine goals in 27 league appearances and four times (one goal) in the 2008 Copa Sudamericana . At the beginning of January 2009, Píriz was loaned to Club Necaxa . After only two personally goalless premier league appearances for his team, another loan deal followed at the beginning of August that year. This time the receiving club was Club Tijuana . He was used 13 times in the league and scored twice in the opposing goal before continuing his career at Universitario de Deportes from mid-January 2010 . For the Peruvians, he made 23 appearances in the Primera División and scored six goals. He also came five times (no goal) in the 2010 Copa Libertadores . In January 2011 he committed CSD Defensa y Justicia , where he from then on scored 26 goals in 53 appearances in the Primera B Nacional . In mid-July 2012, he joined the Independiente Rivadavia , who were playing in the same league, and completed 33 games (5 goals) in that competition for his new club. Another move within the league took him to Atlético Tucumán in July 2013 . He played 26 times (3 goals) in the Primera B Nacional. From August 2014 to the beginning of January 2015 he was in Guillermo Brown's squad and played 14 games in the Torneo Argentino A during that time . He was noted as a goalscorer five times. Barracas Central has been his employer ever since . The Argentines have made 55 appearances and five goals in the Primera B Metropolitana and one cup appearance (no goal). Since April 2017 at the latest, he has been back in the Tacuarembó FC squad, where he began his professional career. So far (as of July 16, 2017) he has played eight second division games (no goal) for the Northern Uruguayans.
