Valarie Carolyn Allman (born February 23, 1995 in Newark ) is an American discus thrower .

Athletic career

Valarie Allman gained her first international experience in 2014 at the Junior World Championships in Eugene , where she won the silver medal with 56.75 m. A year later, the Stanford University student took fifth place at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju, South Korea . In 2017 she qualified for the World Championships in London , but dropped out there with 53.85 m in the qualification . At the student world games in Taipei two weeks later, she won the silver medal behind the German Kristin Pudenz with 58.36 m .
