Valbo is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Gävleborgs län and the historical province (landskap) Gästrikland . The place with 7147 inhabitants (2015) is located in the municipality of Gävle near the main town of Gävle .
In 2015, areas in the southwest of the previous crime scene were spun off as independent localities by Statistiska centralbyrån : the crime scene Överhärde south of the European route 16 passing there and a Småort in the area of two golf courses between the districts of Mackmyra and Mackmyra bruk.
