Valdo Cândido de Oliveira Filho , short Valdo (born January 12, 1964 in Siderópolis , state of Santa Catarina ) is a former Brazilian football player .

He played 65 times for the Brazilian national team between 1986 and 1993 , with a total of six goals. At the World Championships in 1986 and 1990 he was in the squad of the national team and in 1989 he won the fourth title at the Copa America with the Seleção . At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul , he won the silver medal in football with the selection of his country.

At the age of 40 he ended his active football career.
