Valentin Volk

Valentin Volk (* 1846 or 1849 or 1850 in Mainz ; † 1909 ) was an art and church painter from Mainz. He painted in the neo-Romanesque style.

• 1882: Choir of the parish church in Bingen am Rhein
• 1883: Way of the Cross in the Augustinian Church in Ingolstadt
• 1885/86: Restoration and repainting of the church in Johannisberg Castle
• 1887: Painting of Saint Christopher (oil on canvas) in the Simultankirche Bechtolsheim .
• earliest or after 1888: Evangelical parish church in Großwinternheim
• 1889: side altar of St. Sebastian in the St. Johanneskirche in Bad Homburg - Kirdorf
• 1895: The crucifixion and the stoning of Stephen on the retaining wall of St. Stephen's Church on Willigisplatz in Mainz's old town . The crucifixion was restored in 2013, the stoning was replaced by a copy in 2014.
• 1896–98: Painting of St. Cäcilia in Harsum
• 1898/99: painting of the walls and the vault of St. Martinus in Borsum
• 1900 Painting of the flat ceilings - Voute in St. Katharina in Ransel with portraits of various saints in neo-Renaissance frames .
