Valentine Tsamma Seane
Valentine Tsamma Seane (born November 2, 1966 in Lobaste , Botswana ) is a Botswana clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Gaborone .
Life
Valentine Tsamma Seane was ordained a priest on March 19, 1994 . On January 23, 2006 he was incardinated in the clergy of the diocese of Gaborone .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Gaborone on February 5, 2009. The Apostolic Nuncio in Botswana, Archbishop James Patrick Green , donated him episcopal consecration on April 25 of the same year. Co-consecrators were his predecessor Boniface Tshosa Setlalekgosi and the Vicar Apostolic of Francistown , Franklyn Nubuasah SVD .
On August 9, 2017, Pope Francis resigned from office.
