The Valley Creek is a river in Sanders County in the western US state of Montana .
It rises just outside the eastern boundary of the Lolo National Forest . It initially flows in an easterly and northeastern direction and after a while it swings to the north. It flows into the Jocko River about five kilometers south of Ravelli on Highway 93 .
The river region is popular with anglers because of its high population of bull trout ( Salvelinus confluentus ).
