Vanderley Dias Marinho or just Derley (born December 29, 1987 in São Luís ) is a Brazilian football player .
Career
Derley started his professional career in 2011 at Ceará SC . He then played for various Brazilian clubs.
In 2013 he moved abroad to the Portuguese representative Marítimo Funchal . Already in his season he scored 16 goals in 30 league games and was second behind Jackson Martínez on the scorers list of the Primeira Liga 2013/14 season . This successful debut in Portuguese football meant that he was signed for the upcoming season from Benfica Lisbon . Here he fell short of expectations and ended the 2014/15 season with a goal in 14 league games.
For the 2015/16 season, Derley and his teammate Diego Lopes were loaned to the Turkish first division club Kayserispor .
Chiapas FC , a club from Mexico based in Tuxtla Gutiérrez , loaned it out in 2016/2017.
In 2017 he signed a contract with Desportivo Aves in Portugal. With the club from Vila das Aves he played 53 times in the first division, the Primeira Liga
In mid-2019 he went to Thailand . Here he signed a contract with Muangthong United . The club from Pak Kret , a northern suburb of the capital Bangkok , played in the country's first division, the Thai League . For Muangthong, he completed 15 first division games in the second half of 2019.
