Vanessa Ferlito (born December 28, 1980 in Brooklyn , New York City , New York ) is an American actress .

Life

She has Italian ancestry and her parents run a business in New York. Ferlito became known to a large audience through her role as Aiden Burn in CSI: NY , the second spin-off of the CSI: Vegas series . She left the series in 2005 after the first two episodes of the second season and appeared as a murder victim later in the second season. From 2013 to 2015 she played DEA agent Catherine DeMarco on the USA Network- produced series Graceland .

In June 2016, she was cast for the main cast of the third season of Navy CIS: New Orleans , in which she plays an FBI agent.
