Vanessa Zima
Vanessa Jane Zima (born December 17, 1986 in Phillipsburg , New Jersey ) is an American actress .
life and career
Vanessa Zima's parents moved to Los Angeles , California when she was a child.
In 1995, Zima made her debut opposite Rachael Leigh Cook in the family comedy Attack the Pacifier Brigade . In the drama Ulee's Gold (1997) she played the role of Penny Jackson , the sister of Casey Jackson ( Jessica Biel ) and the granddaughter of Ulysses Jackson ( Peter Fonda ). For this role she was nominated for the Young Artist Award in 1998 .
Zima played one of the bigger roles alongside Julia Stiles in the 1998 thriller Bad Girl , and she also had a bigger role in the 2000 family comedy Rich Kids - We Buy Daddy's Company from 2000. She took over in 2001 in the independent film drama Zoe the title role. In the western The Far Side of Jericho (2006) she was seen at the side of Patrick Bergin and Jason Connery .
Her older sister Madeline Zima and her younger sister Yvonne Zima are also actresses.
