Vanilla lindmaniana is a species of plant in the genus Vanilla ( Vanilla ) in the orchid family (Orchidaceae). It grows as a climbing plant in Brazil.
description
Vanilla lindmaniana is an evergreen climber. The scion is very thin with a diameter of 0.4 centimeters. The leaves are oblong-oval, at the base with a short petiole (1.6 centimeters long and 0.5 centimeters wide), ending in a pointed tip.
The inflorescence axis is laterally compressed with two sharp edges, the flowers are arranged in two lines. The bracts are elongated, 0.6 to one centimeter in size, they end bluntly. The petals are solid yellow. Sepals and petals are four to five inches long, they end rounded and blunt. The lip is unlobed, the front edge is wavy, the tip is slightly drawn in. Run from base to tip, arranged in seven rows, bumpy ridges. The column is hairy on the underside and fused with the lip up to half its length.

Vanilla lindmaniana occurs in Brazil, in the state of Mato Grosso .

Vanilla lindmaniana was first described by Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Kraenzlin in 1911 .
Portères compares Vanilla lindmaniana with the South American vanilla varieties Vanilla argentina and Vanilla vellozii , both synonyms for Vanilla chamissonis .
