Vasil Garvanliev

Vasil Garvanliev ( Macedonian Васил Гарванлиев ; born November 2, 1984 in Strumica , Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia , now North Macedonia ) is a North Macedonian singer .

Life

Garvanliev lived in the USA from the age of 7 to 17 , then in Italy . He studied singing at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto , Canada . He has been living in Strumica again since 2018.

He was supposed to represent North Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam , which had to be canceled on March 18, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

Before that, he was background singer for Tamara Todevska at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 .
