The Vazharov Peak (English; Bulgarian Въжаров връх Wascharow wrach ) is an approximately 700 m high and icy mountain on Liège Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 2.14 km west to south of Balkanov Peak , 1.67 km north of Mount Kozyak and 3.02 km southeast of Bebresh Point in the Brugmann Mountains . The Schterna Glacier is to the north, the Coria Cove to the east-southeast and the Sigmen Glacier to the west-southwest of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after Mikhail Vasharov, a mechanic at St. Kliment-Ohridski station on Livingston Island in several campaigns from 1999 and head of the station between 2005 and 2006.
