Veaunes is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Mercurol-Veaunes with 345 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Rhône-Alpes .

It was merged with the former municipality of Mercurol with effect from January 1, 2016 and merged to form the Commune nouvelle Mercurol-Veaunes in the equally new Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It belonged to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Tain-l'Hermitage .
