Veichter is a village in the municipality of Hagenberg in the Mühlkreis in the Freistadt district , Upper Austria .
The village is located northwest of Pregarten and east of the Mühlkreis Autobahn . On January 1, 2020, the village had 335 inhabitants.
history
The earliest written document is from 1429 and reads "Fewchtech". The name goes back to Old High German fiuht-jahi (spruce forest).
