Veit Mette

Veit Karsten Mette (* 1961 in Bielefeld , known as Veit Mette ) is a German photographer and photojournalist.

Mette studied art education at Bielefeld University . Since 1990 he has been working as a photographer for newspapers , magazines and companies and foundations in the areas of reportage , portrait and PR. In addition to these print publications in publications such as Amica , Stern , Süddeutsche Zeitung , Geo and Die Zeit , he presents his artistic work in numerous books and exhibitions . Veit Mette lives and works in Bielefeld . In 2015 he received the city of Bielefeld's culture award. Veit Mette is a member of the Laif picture agency ( Cologne ).

His brother Til Mette is artistically active as a comic artist and cartoonist .
