Veloroute 5 (Hamburg)

The bicycle route 5 is one of the fourteen bike routes in Hamburg . It leads from the Rathausmarkt in Hamburg city center for 31 kilometers in a north-northeast direction via Uhlenhorst , Barmbek , Bramfeld , Hamburg-Poppenbüttel to Duvenstedt .

Veloroute 5 and Veloroute 6 run from the town hall along the Inner Alster, Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Outer Alster to the Mundsburg Bridge . From Mundsburger Brücke, Veloroute 6 branches off into Hartwicusstraße. Veloroute 5 continues straight along the Mundsburger Damm, past the Mundsburg towers and the Hamburger Meile shopping center .

Junction for Veloroute 5 N

From the corner of Hamburger Strasse and Adolph-Schönfelder Strasse there is a junction, Veloroute 5 N, which leads to Veloroute 4 towards Langenhorn . It initially runs via Adolph-Schönfelder-Strasse and Saarlandstrasse to the city ​​park. The section between Saarlandstrasse and Hebebrandstrasse has been expanded according to new standards and affects the Pergolenviertel and City Nord .
