Venturi Automobiles from Monaco is an automotive supplier , a racing team in motorsport and at the same time a former automobile manufacturer .

Foundation and company history

The Monegasque entrepreneur and venture investor Gildo Pallanca Pastor bought Venturi Paris SA , which went bankrupt in 2000 . The production of its model Venturi 300 Atlantique continued in a factory near Nice until 2001. Then the new Venturi Fétish appeared . With the Fétish, Pastor, together with his team of around 15 at the time, wanted to move away from the image as a Porsche competitor and towards an exclusive, expensive and unique small series manufacturer. Initially, the Fétish was supposed to serve as an inexpensive base, but these plans were abandoned.

In June 2015, Venturi made the decision to forego the small-series production of automobiles from now on, to act only as a supplier of drive trains in the future and to get involved in motorsport and in setting speed records.
