The Verbandsgemeinde Hochspeyer was an administrative unit in the legal form of a regional authority in the district of Kaiserslautern in Rhineland-Palatinate . The Verbandsgemeinde belonged to four independent local communities , the administrative seat was in the eponymous community of Hochspeyer .
The Verbandsgemeinde was dissolved on July 1, 2014, and the communities were assigned to the Verbandsgemeinde Enkenbach-Alsenborn .

The Hochspeyer municipal council consisted of 22 honorary council members, who were last elected in a personalized proportional representation in the local elections on June 7, 2009 , and the full-time mayor as chairman.
