The Verbandsgemeinde Lingenfeld is an administrative unit in the legal form of a regional authority in the district of Germersheim in Rhineland-Palatinate . The Verbandsgemeinde belong to six independent local communities , the administrative seat is in the eponymous community Lingenfeld . It is located in the southern Palatinate and was created as part of the administrative reform in 1972.

The description of the coat of arms reads: “In a shield border divided by black and silver, divided by silver and red, above a silver bar with four black tips speckled-wise a black capital letter L, separated on the right by a blue horseshoe with downward sloping studs, on the left by a blue grape , below over a silver three-mountain, in it a red W, on the right a silver ring, divided by a silver bar and split above by a silver pole, in the lower half a floating eight-pointed silver St. John's Cross, on the left a silver marking in the form of a double-shafted orb from an imperial orb Exaggerated curved capital letter A. "
It was approved by the Neustadt district government in 1984 and contains elements of the coats of arms of the local communities.
