United Torah Judaism (TTY) ( Hebrew יהדות התורה המאוחדת, Jahadut HaTorah HaMeukhedet ) is a political alliance of the two Israeli parties Agudat Jisra'el and Degel haTora .

Both parties are small, Ashkenazi - ultra-Orthodox parties that are represented in the Knesset . The alliance was founded in 1992. The rabbis Jaakov Arjeh Alter , Joseph Schalom Elyashiv , Jisachar Dov Rokeach , Elasar Menachem Schach and Aharon Leib Schteinman were particularly involved in the establishment.

The two parties did not always agree on all political issues, but have worked together over the years and united as an electoral bloc to get the highest number of seats in the Knesset.

When the alliance joined the government coalition under Ariel Sharon in 2004 , it split back into its two parties. Before the parliamentary elections in 2006, however, both parties renewed their alliance. In the 21st Knesset after the 2015 election , the alliance had six parliamentary seats. Since the parliamentary election in April 2019 , for which the TYY entered into a list union with the Sephardic ultra-orthodox Shas , the United Torah Judaism has had eight seats.
