The Vert is a river in France that runs in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises under the name Chousse in the municipality of Arette , generally drains north-east to north, briefly changes its name again to Vert d'Arette and after 35 kilometers flows into the Gave d'Oloron as a left tributary in the municipality of Moumour .
