Location of the Bergtheim administrative community in the Würzburg district

The following municipalities have come together in the Bergtheim administrative community in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg to handle their administrative business:

1. Bergtheim , population 3815, 26.48 km²
2. Oberpleichfeld , 1126 inhabitants, 8.65 km²

The administrative community is based in Bergtheim.

When it was founded on May 1, 1978, the administrative community also included the communities of Unterpleichfeld and Hausen near Würzburg (formerly Hausen bei Arnstein , renamed as of October 12, 1978). The municipality of Unterpleichfeld left with effect from January 1, 1980. On January 1, 1994, the community of Hausen near Würzburg was released.
