About this picture

In the administrative community of Obermichelbach-Tuchenbach in the central Franconian district of Fürth , the following communities have come together to handle their administrative business:

  1. Obermichelbach , 3314 inhabitants, 9.28 km²
  2. Tuchenbach , 1383 inhabitants, 6.5 km²

In 1980, the Obermichelbach-Puschendorf-Tuchenbach administrative community came into being when the communities left the Veitsbronn administrative community, which was founded in 1978 . This corporation was then renamed the administrative association Tuchenbach after the seat of the municipality .

When the municipality of Puschendorf left the municipality in 1998, the Obermichelbach-Tuchenbach administrative association was created. The administrative headquarters were moved from Tuchenbach to Obermichelbach in 1998.

The chairman of the administrative community is the mayor of Obermichelbach, z. Z. Herbert Jäger.
