The administrative community is based in Redwitz adRodach.

Until December 31, 1979, the corporation also included the market town of Marktzeuln and the town of Hochstadt am Main ; these two municipalities have merged since January 1, 1980 to form the Hochstadt-Marktzeuln administrative community.
