The Vespa 150 Sprint is a scooter from Piaggio .

There were two series of the Vespa Sprint. The first model, which was called the Vespa Sprint , was in the program until 1974, while from 1969 the very similar Vespa Sprint Veloce was offered in parallel until 1979.

Both models have a two-stroke - rotary valve engine with 145 cc displacement. However, the engine of the Vespa Sprint Veloce has three instead of two overcurrent channels and a higher compression ratio of 7.7: 1 , resulting in an output of 8 hp instead of 7 hp. The engine power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a four-speed gearbox with twist grip shifting.

The body of the scooter is self-supporting; the front wheel is suspended from a single-sided short swing arm , the rear wheel from a drive unit swing arm . Outwardly, the 150 Sprint Veloce model differs from the 150 Sprint model in that it has a circular headlight instead of a flattened one. In addition, the trim strips on the front fender and on the back of the "cheeks" are missing. A feature of the 150 Sprint V version built for Germany are the indicators on the handlebar ends.
