Veuves is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Veuzain-sur-Loire with 207 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . The place is located on the right of the Loire in the middle of the region famous for its castles .

On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Veuves merged with Onzain to form the new municipality of Veuzain-sur-Loire .
