Victor Adolf von Riecke

Victor Adolf Riecke , from 1856 by Riecke , (often also Adolf Riecke ; * July 7, 1805 in Stuttgart , † December 1, 1857 ibid) was a doctor from Württemberg .

Life

Riecke was the son of the Stuttgart city and official physician and medical professor Johann Ludwig Victor von Riecke and is a scion of the Württemberg family Riecke . Riecke studied medicine at the University of Tübingen and was there in 1827 with the dissertation Contribution to obstetrics. Topography from Württemberg to Dr. med. PhD . He settled in Stuttgart in 1828 as a general practitioner . 1840 he was appointed a full member of the Statistical-Topographical Bureau of the Kingdom of Württemberg , on whose publications he then took part, so the Württembergischen yearbooks , the chief official descriptions as well as the country's description of 1841. On 30 November 1840 he was awarded the academic nickname Esch Reuter for Elected member ( matriculation no. 1484 ) of the Leopoldina .

Riecke became senior medical assessor in 1844, medical advisor in 1846 , royal court physician in 1850, senior medical advisor in 1853 and general practitioner of the Königin-Katharina-Stift . He worked in various fields as a staff member in magazines, as a writer of medical non-fiction and as a doctor. In 1856 he received the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown for his services . In this train he was ennobled .
